Printed PP tape with natural rubber: for full boxes and tough conditions
A box of tools, spare parts or drinks pulls on its seal differently from a box of clothes. Then there's the journey: unheated halls in January, damp cellars, vans parked in the summer sun. Tape notices all of it. Our Solvent tape is made for that side of shipping. Its natural rubber adhesive keeps medium-weight and heavy, well-filled boxes securely closed, and stays dependable when conditions are anything but ideal.
Where Solvent shows its strengths
According to the manufacturer, the working temperature runs from -4 °C to 45 °C. That makes the tape suitable for cold rooms, for warehouses with big temperature swings, and for shipments that spend time outdoors. High humidity doesn't throw the adhesive off either. Typical users include food and drink suppliers, wholesalers of technical goods and spare parts, garden and horticulture businesses, and anyone whose boxes are regularly packed heavy.
Solvent or hot melt?
Both adhesives have their job. Hot melt grabs very fast and suits light parcels in dry, controlled settings, where speed at the packing table matters most. Solvent is the more versatile, more resistant adhesive once weight, moisture or temperature come into play. A higher reading on steel, by the way, doesn't automatically make a tape stronger on a box. What counts is what you use it for.
Loud to unwind, and the quiet alternative
Solvent tape comes off the roll audibly, with the familiar rasp you know from warehouses and workshops. In a hall, nobody minds. If your packing station is in an office or a shop, though, our silent-unwinding printed PP tape with acrylic adhesive is the more pleasant choice.
Tape colour and print
Choose white, brown or clear, and have your logo, web address or a note like "Heavy – two-person lift" printed in one, two or three colours. For heavy parcels especially, a note right on the seal works better than any sticker.
